The Full Moon

I've always thought that Mr. Moon and Mr. Sun had an agreement: You get the night sky and daytime is mine.

Apparently, on some special days, Mr. Moon would come and visit us earlier than usual. We are currently in the middle of the lunar month, where the moon is full and round. 


And tonight, as I peeked through my window, I was a bit suprised to see the usually pitch-black backyard was visible. Could it be that the neighbours were having a BBQ? Nope, it was Mr. Moon, looking glorious and stunning!

Kimi will be 3 soon and guess what, he is also a newly-appointed big brother! The first book from her that I read was Under the Duvet, and the second was The Other Side of The Story - both I borrowed from UTM's library. She writes about characters with real life issues and manage to make the situation light although it's actually a dark topic. At the end of the day, readers will learn about complicated issues without feeling depressed. She delivers the message and adds humor to it - just brilliant! Plus, I learned a few Irish words! Sushi for Beginners is about the lives of 3 different ladies, all facing depressions. Different characters have a different coping mechanism. Melbourne Weekend Getaway! Date: 13 May 2011 It is not often you hear someone say, "I'm going to Australia just for the weekend". However, it actually happened to me, not intentionally, but accidentally... I booked my flight ticket (in August 2010 for the lowest fare possible!!) without double checking and ended up with only 2 full days to spend in Melbourne. To make the best of it, I pre-booked full day tours for both days... which left out any opportunity for Melbourne city sight-seeing - how sad! From LCCT, KLIA to Melbourne Airport, it took about 8 hours flight - which I can't sleep for most part of it!! - and the time difference is plus 2 hours from Malaysia.
