Cloth Liners: Dino Chevron

Image
Ahhh... Here we are, already February 2021 and Covid-19 is still here around the world. Australia is doing quite well, but not Malaysia. We can't travel home and I miss my family so much! I have never been apart from them this long and it's haunting my dreams! Anyways, I can't believe my mood for sewing or crocheting have not fully kicked in this year. I have a few ideas but just not in the mood to create. On the plus side, I managed to make a few cloth liners and before putting them on my eBay store, I decided to visit my blog. So here I am! Oh yes, my cloth liners have been out-of-stock for months now and one of my regular customers have sent me a message asking if I am still making them. And this was back in November 2020. Now that I am finally free from my uni work, I can slowly put on my maker's hat and embrace my creative side. For this batch, I pair the Dino microfleece with the yellow chevron cotton fabric. They look very striking, I must say. Ok, will upload th...

Cloth Liners/Wipes: Dinos!

As I am writing this post, the pandemic Covid-19 restrictions are starting to be lifted gradually here in Queensland, Australia. Going to the shops are no longer scary, I mean, people are still social distancing, but I don't feel as guilty as I used to feel.  Anyway, with so many mothers stuck at home, online shopping has become the new norm (me included). And my liners were completely out of stock. My local Spotlight seems a bit emptier than usual, so there were not many fabric patterns to choose from. But I loved the micro fleece Dinosaur print, and started working on some new liners. The polka-dots pattern was cute too and matches the colour theme of the dinosaur one. Now I have 2 design up on my eBay store - Dinos and Grey Bunnies!  Click for my eBay store AUD5.50 for a set of 3 liners With this all sorted, I can happily start marking some assignments. Changing role from a crafter, to an academician - here I go!

Cloth Liners/Wipes: Whale Design

I have been oh so busy with work and mothering 3 boys that I have actually not sewed anything for months! We just got back form Malaysia last week, attending my second brother's, Afian's, wedding. I am hoping to write about that soon after choosing and editing the wedding pictures. Anyway, with my cloth wipes running low on stock, I decided to have a little browse at our local Spotlight and choose some cute patterns for a new design, this time maybe something for the boys. So I made this 'Whale' cloth liners - with the cute blue whales on the micro fleece, and a simple grey pattern on the flannel. Hope you guys like it as much as I do =D So soft and cute! Selling them at my eBay store...

Cloth Liners/ Cloth Wipes

As a cloth diapering mom, I find using liners very useful as it reduces staining of the precious cloth nappies and easy removal of baby's poo. I wasn't too keen on the disposable liners and hence, made these reusable and washable ones. Two layers of different fabric, one: fleece - quick-drying, therefore keeps baby's skin dry when used as nappy liners; two: flannel: absorbs moisture and rougher texture - great as wipes. You can use these liners however you want, and being multipurpose, reduces things to carry in our mommy bags! Comes in a set of 3 How do you organise your cloth wipes or liners? I put mine in a Tupperware wipe case, the ones used for normal wet wipes - a perfect fit and makes it easily accessible, especially when wiping little messes.  *************************** Bunny  -  Click Here!   AUD$5.50 *************************** Unicorn  - Sold Out *************************** Whale  -  Click Here!   AU...
