As I am writing this post, the pandemic Covid-19 restrictions are starting to be lifted gradually here in Queensland, Australia. Going to the shops are no longer scary, I mean, people are still social distancing, but I don't feel as guilty as I used to feel. Anyway, with so many mothers stuck at home, online shopping has become the new norm (me included). And my liners were completely out of stock. My local Spotlight seems a bit emptier than usual, so there were not many fabric patterns to choose from. But I loved the micro fleece Dinosaur print, and started working on some new liners. The polka-dots pattern was cute too and matches the colour theme of the dinosaur one. Now I have 2 design up on my eBay store - Dinos and Grey Bunnies! Click for my eBay store AUD5.50 for a set of 3 liners With this all sorted, I can happily start marking some assignments. Changing role from a crafter, to an academician - here I go!
1st Year Anniversary Celebration! To celebrate our 1 year of marriage, 'I' had planned a few trips both domestic and international but until the very last minute... none of the plans could be achieved. So to make things easier, 'I' (again) decided to go to Bukit Tinggi, because it's closer to Ampang - we could easily visit our parents. Hasben, the-okay-I-am-up-for-anything man agreed. We've been here 2 years ago, so this time, we determined to make the trip more special! Lodging: Colmar Tropicale The view from our window We wanted to stay at the market square, in the heart of the festivities. The French decor was lovely but our room seems a bit run-down. Maybe it's time for maintenance. Apart from that, comfy and cozy! Date: 7 January 2011 Animal Park Entrance Fee: RM3 We played with the rabbits and donkeys! Keep me warm buddy! Look at those CUTE eyes!! Hungry Donkey!
Date: 6 December 2010 Location: Malaysian Mega Galvaniser Sdn Bhd, Klang, Selangor Went for a factory visit with my site supervisors to witness hot-dip galvanising process for our Monsoon Drain Re-Construction Project . Introduction: Hot-dip galvanizing is the process of coating iron, steel, or aluminum with a thin layer of zinc. This process results in a metallurgical bond between zinc and steel with a series of distinct iron-zinc alloys. The zinc carbonate formed is fairly strong and protects the steel layer below from further corrosion. Steel will not rust due to the cathodic protection offered by zinc coating, that will be oxidized before steel. Source: Wikipedia Process: Source: MMG SB 1) Degreasing Surface of material must be properly cleaned before galvanising. The expected lives of hot-dip galvanised products are mainly affected by this process. The material is immersed in a degreaser tank containing detergent additives to remove any substance (oil, gre...
