Our Last Iftar 2013 Together Date: 19 July 2013 For over a month, my baby sis Winzie was staying with us, as a maid... Haha, just joking! On her last day in Toowoomba, we decided to cook for Iftar together. So I made nasi lemak with fried chicken and Winzie made bee cupcakes! This rarely happens, me cooking for Iftar this year... Hihi... The next morning, we had our Sahur at 3 AM and off we went to Gold Coast Airport to send her home. By darling, missing you already!

Date: 1 July 2013 We were on our way from Mt Buller to Sydney for MPC2013. We decided not to stop by Canberra and visit Kiama instead. Before reaching the famous Blowhole, we made a detour up Saddleback Mountain. There were a group of cows crossing the road. This took a couple of minutes wait, they were moving veryyyy slowlyyyy... We continued up the road and reached the lookout. Breathtaking view of the towns and farm below. The sea was bright blue (it was really blue that day, not just because I enhanced the picture ;p) The bumpy hills were adorable~ A couple was sunbathing on the platform and I was sure they were not too keen at our "Wowwweee"s and "Fuiyooo"s... As we descended down the mountain, look who we met on the roadside... Brown Beauty... Gorgeous! Off we went to Kiama for the spectacular water jumping that is the Blowhole. Maybe I'll write about it someday... Maybe.. ;-)

The View From Mengler Hill Date: 6 June 2013 Barossa Valley is famous for its many vineyards and wineries. For us who do not consume any alcohol, a visit there would just be for the beautiful sceneries and photography. It is a very long drive from Adelaide. We first visited Adelaide Hills and reached Barossa Valley at about 4 PM. There is really not much to do there, except for picture taking of course. I was contemplating between Murray River and Barossa Valley for today's itinerary... And maybeeee... If I had chosen the former, it would have been more interesting... Hmmm.. Maybe... ;p The Barossa Sculpture Park was located on Mengler Hill Lookout. It is a really nice place to enjoy the valley. Also, getting to know some fluffy sheep! Such a lovely hilly view. Maybe the the trip wasn't too bad after all [^_^]

We are currently on our way home from Sydney - a 12 hour drive! Our usual stops include toilet breaks, coffee breaks, lunch/dinner/breakfast stops, and also solat breaks. It is dark, cold, and misty but the car park is the only place to perform our prayers. All we need is a comfy picnic blanket and tadaaaa ... Instant musolla! Anyway, I really love my Kathmandu picnic blanket, bought on sale (clearance stock, yeah!). Bottom layer is waterproof, top layer is soft fleece, with a buckle for a perfect roll! [^_^] Hope to arrive home soon... Huarghhh... Super tired!

Alhamdulillah for a great opportunity for a casual appointment. Being a marker seems easy, with a pay rate of $35/hour. Come exam week - life as you know it is out of order! The house is filled with exam papers everywhere, about 300 papers!!! And the dateline for completion is about a week... Talk about pressure! Different students have different handwritings, some are easy to read and some are just too wiggly. Not to mention the little notes they left behind: Just guessing, sorry. I can't answer this as the question did not provide sufficient info. And the rude ones: Terrible English, please rephrase the question! Right now, all I can see when I close my eyes are the answer schemes. It is as though it has been engraved under my eyelids! Good thing is, Awin is here to spend her semester break with me...
