Laurel Bank Park, Toowoomba

Date: 29 December 2012

This park is located quite close to the city. We always pass by it on our way to Clifford Garden Shopping Centre but after a year in Toowoomba, we decided to explore it and have some photo shoots. The park provides 1 BBQ shelter for the public, a playground, a rose garden, and a little observation tower. We also found Thomas the Engine with a body of a hedge! Adorable! Definitely a good place to spend the evening with family and friends.

Oh yeah, during Carnival of Flowers back in September, free open-air cinema was held here at night and this year, the movie aired was The Muppets, followed by awesome firework displays to mark the end of the festival. Back then, it was too dark for us to enjoy the park though.
