Book: You're The One I Don't Want

Seriously, I had so much fun reading this book, I covered half in just one day! With my hormonial changes these days, I don't think I am up for depressing books. As for silly, annoying heroins, they just get on my nerves! However, this book is definitely a chick-lit, but a fun one at  that!


My Synopsis

Lucy and Nat was destined to be together for eternity - they made sure they were. At 19, they met in Venice, Italy and kissed under the Bridge of Sigh at sunset. Legend has it, this kiss will guarantee they will never be seperated for the rest of their lives, although both have to return to their homelands soon.

10 years later, Lucy is still single and cannot forget her "The One". Nat broke up with her during her college days to marry Beth. However, they met again when Lucy was offered a job in New York. At first, they were falling madly in love all over again... until they realized, 10 years can really change a person. Whether it is a coincidence or magic, Lucy cannot get rid of the new, annoying, balding Nat.

Your teenage Mr. Right might be your adult Mr. Wrong. *Teehee*

Kimi will be 3 soon and guess what, he is also a newly-appointed big brother! Date: 24 December 2010 Author: Marian Keyes She is definitely one of my favourite authors ever. The first book from her that I read was Under the Duvet, and the second was The Other Side of The Story - both I borrowed from UTM's library. She writes about characters with real life issues and manage to make the situation light although it's actually a dark topic. At the end of the day, readers will learn about complicated issues without feeling depressed. She delivers the message and adds humor to it - just brilliant! Plus, I learned a few Irish words! Sushi for Beginners is about the lives of 3 different ladies, all facing depressions. Different characters have a different coping mechanism. Synopsis: Lisa, a beautiful, career oriented lady is the b*tch boss from hell. She'll do whatever it takes to be the best at what she does, even if it means having no friends and family. Melbourne Weekend Getaway! Date: 13 May 2011 It is not often you hear someone say, "I'm going to Australia just for the weekend". However, it actually happened to me, not intentionally, but accidentally... I booked my flight ticket (in August 2010 for the lowest fare possible!!) without double checking and ended up with only 2 full days to spend in Melbourne. To make the best of it, I pre-booked full day tours for both days... which left out any opportunity for Melbourne city sight-seeing - how sad! From LCCT, KLIA to Melbourne Airport, it took about 8 hours flight - which I can't sleep for most part of it!! - and the time difference is plus 2 hours from Malaysia.
