The final installment of Harry Potter - no more magical indulgence from Hogwarts after this. I had to watch this movie with besties, DD and Lohi, who during our young teenage days, were super engrossed with the books. It's a piece of history that we must conclude together.


It was hard to find the right time where all 3 of us were available but we managed. Lohi bought the tickets online to ensure that we got the best seats in TGV, KLCC.

The movie to me was fast pace and had many scripts, I guess to make non-readers understand what was going on. It was really sad to see many characters killed in the battle (as expected). The best part though was seeing young Snape, and his memories - I find it so sweet. However, this movie did not give me the after effect I got from the previous one, HP7 Part 1.

Kimi will be 3 soon and guess what, he is also a newly-appointed big brother! The first book from her that I read was Under the Duvet, and the second was The Other Side of The Story - both I borrowed from UTM's library. She writes about characters with real life issues and manage to make the situation light although it's actually a dark topic. At the end of the day, readers will learn about complicated issues without feeling depressed. She delivers the message and adds humor to it - just brilliant! Plus, I learned a few Irish words! Sushi for Beginners is about the lives of 3 different ladies, all facing depressions. Different characters have a different coping mechanism. Synopsis: Lisa, a beautiful, career oriented lady is the b*tch boss from hell. She'll do whatever it takes to be the best at what she does, even if it means having no friends and family. Melbourne Weekend Getaway! Date: 13 May 2011 It is not often you hear someone say, "I'm going to Australia just for the weekend". However, it actually happened to me, not intentionally, but accidentally... I booked my flight ticket (in August 2010 for the lowest fare possible!!) without double checking and ended up with only 2 full days to spend in Melbourne. To make the best of it, I pre-booked full day tours for both days... which left out any opportunity for Melbourne city sight-seeing - how sad! From LCCT, KLIA to Melbourne Airport, it took about 8 hours flight - which I can't sleep for most part of it!! - and the time difference is plus 2 hours from Malaysia.
