Our Fifth Anniversary!

How time flies...  I am entering my 5th year as a wife. And how lucky I am to call myself a HOUSEwife. Cleaning up after the kids all day long,  forgetting what day it was, memorising every single cartoon song on TV, restraining myself from excessive shopping... I feel like a college student on a semester break, but without the freedom of sleeping, playing game, movie marathon and novel reading. Awesome! (-_-)" (But honestly, it is AWESOME!)

Anyway, here's what I baked:

Hasben gave me a card from Hallmark:


And finally, my tini tiny present arrived through Australian Post today.  Bought Hasben and I each a miniature perfume. They are the size of my thumb!


Hasben said, "Since my wife stopped working, the presents are getting smaller and smaller... I bet this only costed you a dollar.. " Dayummm sonnnn! Haha!

Anyway, I would like to dedicate this song to Hasben. You know how Pink can get away with swearing but still sounds romantic, well I hope that applies to me too... Hopefully tak durhaka and durjana.. Uhuhuh.. (gigil)...

Kimi will be 3 soon and guess what, he is also a newly-appointed big brother! The first book from her that I read was Under the Duvet, and the second was The Other Side of The Story - both I borrowed from UTM's library. She writes about characters with real life issues and manage to make the situation light although it's actually a dark topic. At the end of the day, readers will learn about complicated issues without feeling depressed. She delivers the message and adds humor to it - just brilliant! Plus, I learned a few Irish words! Sushi for Beginners is about the lives of 3 different ladies, all facing depressions. Different characters have a different coping mechanism. Melbourne Weekend Getaway! Date: 13 May 2011 It is not often you hear someone say, "I'm going to Australia just for the weekend". However, it actually happened to me, not intentionally, but accidentally... I booked my flight ticket (in August 2010 for the lowest fare possible!!) without double checking and ended up with only 2 full days to spend in Melbourne. To make the best of it, I pre-booked full day tours for both days... which left out any opportunity for Melbourne city sight-seeing - how sad! From LCCT, KLIA to Melbourne Airport, it took about 8 hours flight - which I can't sleep for most part of it!! - and the time difference is plus 2 hours from Malaysia.
