Cervical Cancer Vaccination

Get Vaccinated Ladies!

Based on the doctor who introduced this vaccine to the ladies in my company, cervical cancer is the only cancer with a vaccine, at the moment... hopefully more to come... scientists, please research fast! The human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine may prevent infection from the development of cervical cancer. European ladies have been taking this vaccine for quite some time. I only just heard about this very recently, and from statistics, not many Malaysian ladies are guarded from this virus. This year, Malaysian government is giving free injections of this vaccine to Malaysian girls age 13... so for you Form 1 students out there, don't waste time! What happens if you're not 13? Like me... well, I had to pay RM560 for Cervarix Vaccine - 3 dosages:


First Dosage: 17/5/10
Second Dosage: 1 month later - 24/6/2010
Third Dosage: 6 months later - 6/12/2010

3 injections!! Auww! Yup... it stings a bit during the injections and swells for three days!! The things women do for safe reproduction of mankind! Note: Pregnant ladies are not allowed to be vaccinated...


My third dosage was supposed to be in Kerteh on the 9th of Dec. I couldn't make it since I was in India then. So the nurse decided to come to KL on the 6th for my final dosage. So like a drug addict, we went into a nursery room in a shopping mall for the injection, which was really weird. After the injection, I window shopped and thank god, did not faint, i did feel a bit tipsy afterwards!

Fuh! maher zain nya? ada tak klinik2 yang bagi discount? memang dah lama nak amik vaksin ni tapi tak tahu kat mana.. tgh nak survey lagi ni

Kimi will be 3 soon and guess what, he is also a newly-appointed big brother! Melbourne Weekend Getaway! Date: 13 May 2011 It is not often you hear someone say, "I'm going to Australia just for the weekend". However, it actually happened to me, not intentionally, but accidentally... I booked my flight ticket (in August 2010 for the lowest fare possible!!) without double checking and ended up with only 2 full days to spend in Melbourne. To make the best of it, I pre-booked full day tours for both days... which left out any opportunity for Melbourne city sight-seeing - how sad! From LCCT, KLIA to Melbourne Airport, it took about 8 hours flight - which I can't sleep for most part of it!! - and the time difference is plus 2 hours from Malaysia.
